Description: He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He carries with him a set of glaives on his belt, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. With a patchy auburn beard and wild auburn hair. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Nicholas is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her mace with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. She sports silver long hair. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Detective profession.

History: She was born in the south. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Helen grew up listening to her father's many stories. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
