Description: A 5'6" western woman, she likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. She has wavy golden hair. Her skin is flawless and her gray eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Oriel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Oriel fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she is dressed in a clean tan cloak covering her clean studded leather. Her brown hair is wavy and long. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Painter arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Emma was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair is red and very short. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His first spouse was a Interpreter, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears an entirely pastel suit with black socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His white hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He has several tiny amethyst earrings on each ear.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
