Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Hugh took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up crossbow and armor he uses now. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Ruler they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Farmer, and he later adopted a second daughter.
