History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Theobald grew up listening to his father's many stories. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing dancing.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Theobald and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born in the west to a Courier, Rohesia learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Juliana was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Juliana was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
