History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and doesn't want to be a herbalist and was forced into it by his family

History: Born in the east to a Baker, Diggory learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Mason, but he was a colossal failure. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
