History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Miles reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Miles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
