History: John hails from a village terrorized by illithids. John liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. John was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Heather grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is her passion.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He takes great joy in being the best Layabout in town.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has achieved small success as a Layabout.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: Born to a Mercenary, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bricklayer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
