Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He is bald on top and has large golden tufts of hair around his ears. His amber eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker pastel hat.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. One day when Tim was young, his mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his mother dropped to the ground dead. His mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Tim was heart-stricken from the event, and his father started working long hours to provde for them. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Miner. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her childhood dream was to be a Servant, but she was a colossal failure. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and sabotage a competitor

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He is wearing a long, brown cloak. He wears his black hair up. His violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: He has a large red mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his black robe. He is portly but not overly obese. His long white hair reaches down to his waist. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Miner born in the past three hundred years. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Miner for the past few years.

Motivation: Revenge; and a deep hatred of dire rats
