Bernard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gifted student he started as a Performer, but he got bored and became a Baker. He now owns his own business.
