History: Lewis was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: She was born into a rich family. At some point she was captured by goblins and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
