History: He comes from a rich western family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ruler for the past few years.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Miller but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Don's homeland. Don decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Now he works as a writing tutor during his time off.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he is content

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Rosamund is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Farmer.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
