Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His long blonde hair reaches down to his waist. This hazel eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Don was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Marshal. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Don was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and balancing his hectic life and new marshal responsibilities is difficult

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears skinny pants and wears a violet and grey robe with the hood down. He has a golden handlebar mustache and slicked back golden hair. His green eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Peter enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Peter was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Engraver born in the past three hundred years. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing her hectic life and new engraver responsibilities is difficult

Description: He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'6" when asserting himself. His hair is cut close to his head. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants his loneliness to end
