His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: Adam was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He tends to his Stableman job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Born to a Soapmaker, her father struggled to pay the bills. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Crown-heir. She has achieved small success as a Crown-heir.

Motivation: To be a Soapmaker again; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and wants his loneliness to end
