History: The child of a Performer, who enjoyed hunting, Adelard was taken on many hunting expeditions. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Adelard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age his father died while driving off some giants. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in sword use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. She wears a black coat over a yellow low-cut shirt, and a small hat upon her head. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. She has brown hair. Her ears are large.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Millicent was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Millicent and her spouse have recently divorced.
