His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Ernest took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Ruler born in the past three hundred years. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He's also a talented Sailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Sailor again; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
