Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a tight fitting white shirt and pants. He wears a broad hat to cover his moderate length blonde hair. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. The war was a terrible time for him, and Shane does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Shane was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Shane was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Shane's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Cecily was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When Cecily reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Apothecary for the past few years.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.
