Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Emma was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.
