History: Gilbert was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bather. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to be a slave trader again

History: Percival was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He struck the Courier job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is unsatisfied with his job
