History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Dyer arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Description: This southern woman is abnormally tall. She is well dressed, constantly wearing a tan suit, grey shirt, and yellow tie. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. Her brown hair is lengthy. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Alice grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Alice. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: The light-skinned woman stands 5'2" and wears a fancy tan dress. Her moppish golden hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She is a Butcher first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: She was born in a small plains village. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Butcher for hire.

Motivation: To be a Scribe again.

Description: She wears a tight fitting brown shirt and pants. She carries with her a set of daggers on her belt, each one with a emerald on the hilt. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Margery enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Margery was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
