History: He comes from a rich western family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: He wears dull violet sweaters, loose green pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed whip, just in case, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'11" when asserting himself. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length blonde hair. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Roland abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She's attracted to the PC; and she wants to get laid
