Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Emmeline was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She worked as a nervous Assassin and found it very stressful. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. At some point he was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
