Personality: Melissa hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She tends to her Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
