Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Joan is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
