Description: He sports black clothing, slightly heavier than average wear, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'4" when asserting himself. He wears his golden hair up. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. The war was a terrible time for him, and Miles does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Miles was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Galiena embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty violet coat over it, and carries greatswords. He keeps his long white hair kept up in a rat tail. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Aldous will drive conversation. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to get a good night's sleep
