History: She was born in a small mountains village. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother.

History: The child of a Servant, who enjoyed hunting, Richard was taken on many hunting expeditions. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he wants to get laid
