History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Gerard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gerard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: This woman loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. The war was a terrible time for her, and Egelina does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: Agnes was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Agnes was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Agnes's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
