History: Avice hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Avice fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Katherine lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
