History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and wants to work out more often

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying south to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion
