History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Elysande grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Elysande. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and a deep hatred of giants

She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
