History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ermina fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. After a long history of fighting, Jacoba and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gifted student he started as a Cook, but he got bored and became a Carter. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
