Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Dustin embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Williamina lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
