History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: Hadwisa lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hadwisa grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hadwisa. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: She was born into a rich family. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
