History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Hugolina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: She got into the Ploughman business at a young age. Sybil was born on a far northern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Ploughman. She became a Ploughman soon after.
