History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying east to reunite her family. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Maynild was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.
