History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Alice was born on a far southern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Herbalist. After a long history of fighting, Alice and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Patrick is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
