History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after John was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. John's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born to a Knight, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: Anne was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gifted student she started as a Server, but she got bored and became a Mason. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
