Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Theodoric's homeland. Theodoric decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. After a long history of fighting, Theodoric and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Shane was born the youngest of three triplets. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
