History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Eleanor was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. After coming to the age of reason, Cecily took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born in a small plains village. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
