Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'3" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a brown cloak and cross-gartered red stockings. He wears his white hair down. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many giants want him driven away

Description: She wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a dagger, but if one is not available she will default to her whip. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. Her moppish golden hair is in a traditional bowl cut. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Navigator profession.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her childhood dream was to be a Navigator, but she was a colossal failure. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it. His brown hair is heavily combed to the right. His eyes are likewise hazel.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His first spouse was a Ruler, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He tends to his Marshal job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.
