He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Scribe work with an outfit from a few towns over. Scribe work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Manfred was born with his father's beautiful face. Manfred was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Mortician. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.
