Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Roland embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Miner business.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: This late middle aged man wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during and is in decent physical shape. He has wavy silver hair. He has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To be a Seamstress again; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: A 5'8" western man, he wears a white vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His yellow leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his white boots flare out at the collars. His moppish blonde hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 23. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Aldous was born the youngest of three triplets. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He tends to his Butcher job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
