History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: He was born into a rich family. Through the years after Thomas was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east.
