Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. She wears her blonde hair up in a very large beehive style do. She has several tiny jet earrings on each ear.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Crown-heir, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Description: 5'8" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. His hair is auburn and curly. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 20. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Arnold was born with his father's beautiful face. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Arnold grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Arnold. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He's in love; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. His hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shepherd and was forced into it by her family; and an old rival family wants her found
