History: Born in the east to a Barrister, Aline learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. After coming to the age of reason, Aline took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and many giants want her driven away

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: He typically wears grey cloth garments or leather armor. He carries with him a set of longswords on his belt, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. His long auburn hair reaches down to his waist. He has green eyes.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Barrister business.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Theodoric liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. Her golden hair is thinning but still full. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Mary is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents were killed by goblins in a raid when she was still a young child. The goblins captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. After a long history of fighting, Mary and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Many goblins want her driven away.
