Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Balimaar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His first spouse was a Performer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Wymar was born the youngest of three triplets. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Wymar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: Adelaide hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She is obsessed with her god.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Adelaide was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.
