Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. The war was a terrible time for her, and Sarah does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When Sarah reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Emeny was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Emeny was born on a far southern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Engraver. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
