History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. At a young age his father died while driving off some dire rats. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in glaive use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Adelard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jocelyn grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Through the years after Jocelyn was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Jocelyn's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Jocelyn never married again. Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
