Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born to a Miller, her father struggled to pay the bills. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

History: Born in the west to a Cartwright, Mary learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has achieved small success as a Cartwright.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
