History: Jocelyn was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Now he works as a writing tutor during his time off.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Rosalind was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
