History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Crown-heir who has hired him part-time. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Carter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
